Event Details
Observe and learn about the stars at this family-friendly night of stargazing with members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York! There will be telescopes of various magnifications and design, capable of reaching out into the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond. We will give out raffle prizes and glow sticks. See www.aaa.org for more information about the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York Free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated but not required. The event will take place at the meadow near the office; follow the signs from Bushwick Avenue entrance. The event will take place weather permitting; it will be cancelled in the case of rain or thick clouds. All registered attendees will be emailed in case of cancellation and it will be posted on www.theevergreenscemetery.org and on www.aaa.org. **This event was originally scheduled for May 19 and has been rescheduled for June 16 due to rain in the forecast. Attendees who signed up for the May 19 event do not need to sign up again; tickets will automatically transfer to the new date.**
