This workshop on the weather, climate, ecosystems and cultural dimensions of the Yampa River watershed will bring together members of the local community, researchers from the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes (CW3E), and local subject matter experts for two days of exploration and discussion. Mornings will be filled with panel discussions on the relationships between Weather, Climate, Water, Environment, Economy and Culture. Afternoon fieldtrips, by invitation, will include visits to The Nature Conservancy's Carpenter Ranch and the SNOTEL site on Buffalo Pass. More information about the workshop can be found HERE.
