Rebecca Watson, shareholder in the law firm of Welborn Sullivan Meek & Tooley, P.C. in Denver, will speak about the challenges faced by agencies tasked with providing outdoor recreation on public lands. With more than 30 years of legal and policy experience in the fields of conventional and renewable energy, mining, natural resources and federal environmental law, Rebecca counsels companies on environmental regulatory compliance and agency engagement strategies. Rebecca is nationally recognized as a top energy and natural resources lawyer. Public land stewardship is a focus of her pro bono activity. She serves as the Secretary for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation's governing board, is a board member and past-Chair of the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, and serves on the advisory board for Jeffco Open Space.
