Speaker: John SheddenCorporate Counsel, Legal Litigation - TriNet John Shedden joined TriNet in 2015 from the law firm Ogletree Deakins where he was an attorney in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. Throughout his career, Mr. Shedden has focused on helping employers navigate the increasingly complicated federal and state legal, statutory, and regulatory framework governing the employee-employer relationship. He has represented employers in handling a wide range of issues in both federal and state courts, as well as before a number of administrative agencies. In addition, Mr. Shedden has provided advice and counsel to employers regarding everything from equal employment opportunity, wage and hour issues, workers’ compensation, unemployment benefits, to workplace safety and more. Mr. Shedden holds a degree in economics from the University of Virginia, and received his JD from the Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in North Carolina.
