The mission of CDC’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) is to unite CDC’s young professionals through professional and personal development opportunities. YPN represents the next generation of CDC leaders and it motivates a greater sense of community and supports workforce development. In addition, YPN is a great opportunity for early career professionals across CDC to meet, interact, and share ideas. As an organized group of early career professionals, YPN members serve as a creative source for fresh, innovative ideas. YPN is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and encouraging social interaction among early career professionals who share a passion for public health to network and make new friends, professional development of employees at CDC through various workshops and seminars, and community service though local, public health-oriented community service projects.
