Innovation in Emerging Cities will be a catalyst to foster an innovative and creative culture for industry, government and education in Maple Ridge by creating lasting relationships and opportunities for continuing dialogue and actions supporting innovation. keynote speakers include Steve Dotto of Dottotech adressing the importance of creating a culture of innovation, and Dr Salvador Ferraras, Provost and VP Academic at KPU, on how to prepare your people and organization to meet the challenges and opportunities of the innovation economy. This forum supports the goals and objectives of the Government of Canada’s “Innovation and Skills Plan,” by highlighting the critical role that post-secondary education, skills training and businesses and organizations play in advancing innovation in in our community.
