Attend Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois' Annual Meeting to hear all about where we've been, where we are, and the future of our council. This is your chance to meet GSNI's new and returning Board Members, and National Council Delegates, as well as, learn about what happened at the GSUSA National Convention. We will continue the tradition of honoring the girls who have earned the highest award - The Girl Scout Gold Award. Show your support as we celebrate the accomplishments of these amazing young women. Volunteer Recognition allows us all to honor our hard-working and dedicated volunteers, join us as we recognize and celebrate this year's awardees! The Forever Green Ceremony encourages girls to continue their Girl Scout journey and welcomes them into the world as adult Scouts. ONLY girls (12th grade graduates) need to register for the ceremony, all meeting attendees are encouraged to stay and watch these girls bridge from Girl Scout Ambassadors to Adult Scouts. (Please note, continental breakfast is from 9am to 10am. The meeting will begin promptly at 10am, the recognition portion of the event will follow the meeting.)
