Join us at the Third Annual Midwest Bioinformatics Conference on April 11-12. This conference showcases practical approaches to collecting, organizing, and preparing data for a broad range of analyses applied in animal and human health. This Conference will (1) bring together bioinformatics-minded researchers from academia and industry to discover capabilities, share tactical approaches to problem-solving, explore synergies, and launch potential collaborations, and (2) provide an opportunity for bioinformatics students to learn about employment opportunities within the region and employers to meet prospective candidates. LOCATION: University of Missouri Bond Life Sciences Center1201 Rollins St, Columbia, MO 65201 Wednesday, April 11, 2018 10 am – 5:30 pm: Auditorium 5:30 – 8:00 pm: Reception and Dinner Thursday, April 12, 2018 7:30 am (breakfast) – 1 pm (lunch): POSTER SESSION: Poster submission deadline is April 2, however, applicants whose posters are received before March 12 will be considered for a presentation opportunity on one of the panels. To be considered, add "Poster Submission" to your Student/PostDoc or Faculty Registration. You will receive a separate communication with details for the poster submission process. MOCK INTERVIEWS: April 12, local industry professionals will conduct mock interviews with students following the conclusion of the conference. To be considered, add "Mock Interview" to your Student/PostDoc Registration.
