We're holding a FREE event as an opportunity to introduce more girls to the power of coding! ALL AGES WELCOME! NO PREVIOUS CODING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. • Interactive tech exhibits• Learn to Code sessions Morning Coding Session: 10:30am – 11:00am Morning Coding Session II : 11:10am – 11:40am Afternoon Coding Session: 1:00pm – 1:30pm Afternoon Coding Session II: 1:40pm – 2:10pm Currently, women make up less than 1/3 of tech-related jobs in the United States. Our goal is to help to close the gender gap in technology by equipping more girls with the skills and support that they need to pursue careers & degrees in tech! Attendees under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult. FAQs Do I need to know anything about coding or programming to attend? No! No previous programming experience is required for this event. However, if you have any prior technical knowledge, we still encourage you to attend! The goal is to create an immersive tech environment where everyone is able to explore and learn more about coding/programming. Do I need to bring my own laptop? No, we will provide all hardware for the event. However, if you have a cool project that you've coded and would like to share it with us, please feel free to bring your own tech as well. Is there an age requirement? No. This is a community event and we encourage anyone to attend! How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
