Join the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Autumn 2017 Best of Student Startups (BOSS) Finale! Attend and watch 5 student finalists pitch their ideas for a product/business/service and compete for $3,000 of funding towards their idea. John Allen, 4th Year Finance Col•Lab Cafe, an arts cafe in Milo-Grogan which supports community development through genuine connection, communication, and education.Juli Sasaki, 4th Year Arts Management and Sandy Sechang, City and Regional Planning ETIP, the platform that allows electronic tipping in already-existing hotel apps to every type of server, at any time.Samantha Heller, 4th Year Zoology, Andres Plazas, Marketing and Psychology, Stefan Scheele, 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering, and Giuseppe Di Biase, Mechanical Engineering In Your Skin VR, an application to replace current diversity programs that exist in schools, businesses and police departments with a virtual reality application that will encourage empathy and spark learning through gamification. Will I have the opportunity to network with the Autumn 2017 BOSS participants? Yes. From 5:15-6:00pm there will be a BOSS Student Participant Student Tabling Fair where you can speak with all of our BOSS participants, including our 5 finalists who will be pitching at the event. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is FREE parking at the PAST Innovation Lab (1003 Kinnear Rd). There is also additional parking across the street at Metro High School (1929 Kenny Road, Columbus, OH 43210) parking lot. For OSU students without access to a vehicle, there are both CABS and COTA bus stops are close to the PAST Innovation Lab. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Yes.
