Join Interject Data Systems and their employees in celebrating Hour of Code week by participating in our classes throughout the week of December 4th. There will be three classes during the week, each focusing on a different age group. Monday: 8-12 years old, Wednesday: 13-18, and Friday: 18 and older. This is a great time to become familiar with code without the worry of what you already know or don't know. You don't have to be a computer expert to learn to code! Everybody will work along with the teacher to produce a final product. You will learn how seemingly complicated apps are actually fairly simple when the code is broken down into a step-by-step process. The classes will be held in the Multimedia Classroom Building 115, a campus map can be found at https://www.vancouver.wsu.edu/files/wsuv_campusmap.pdf Children younger than 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Interject will not be providing transportation to or from this event and due to the location, starting and ending times will be strictly held. FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Due to this being held on a college campus we ask that you use discretion when bringing children. The school expects kids as young as 8 but not much younger than that. We want to be sure to respect the school so that we are invited to use the facility again for other events. What can I bring into the event? Please feel free to bring your own laptop if you would prefer to use that instead. Note that tablets are not strong enough to code what we plan on teaching.
