Join us for this fun annual event. Rollin Cook, Executive Director, Utah Department of Corrections, will engage in a group discussion about challenges in policy implementation, JRI, and the RioGrande initiatives. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Directions to the Lexington Village Social Center in the Old Farm Condominium Complex From the intersection of 3900 South and 700 East: Go south on 700 East 4/10ths of a mile to the third possible place you can turn right (west). The first two go into office parks. (You will notice the white rail fence along the west side of 700 East. That means you’re at Old Farm.) There is a “turn out” lane as you approach “Old Farm Road.” The sign, which is white with black letters, says “Old Farm Road, 4110 South.” On Old Farm Road, go only about 100 feet west – just past the first speed bump – and turn left (south) on the first street -- onto Old Farm Way (640 E.). Follow Old Farm Way as it bends to the right and goes west. Cross the third speed bump on Old Farm Way. Watch on your right (north) for the “Lexington Social Center” sign, quite a few parking stalls, and the outdoor swimming pool. (The pool is a bit hard to see because of a fence.) IF YOU GO TOO FAR, you will see a sign that says “Not a Through Street,” followed immediately by a turn-around area. (It’s okay to park in the turn around area also.) What can I bring into the event? Your enthusiasm for public policy & administration, plus a willingness to have a good time. Donations for food and drink accepted, but not required.
