The November 30th Engage Talk will focus on how the combination of research commercialization and business startups can drive disruptive social impact. The event will feature Ms. Rosemarie Truman, CEO, the Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI) in Bethesda, MD. CAI has a very unique approach to drive innovation, encouraging research commercialization and the development of strong startups that solve significant social problems. Ms.Truman will share the CAI's approach, lessons learned, recommendations for the region and invite people to take part in the global Freedom from Cancer Startup Challenge.
