Prosper Portland's 8th Annual Athletic & Outdoor Industry Celebration on December 7th will bring together Portland brands and talent under one roof to network and support new/upcoming start ups and entrepreneurs. The Portland metro is comprised of legendary brands, designers, and entrepreneurs. The stories and the people behind these brands are driving forces and inspiration for the next generation of A&O talent. For that reason, this year our annual event will feature the finalists of our "In the Running" Pitch Competition in partnership with Oregon Angel Fund (OAF). OAF is one of the largest, most active venture funds in the region, investing in such A&O brands as Wildfang, Outdoor Project, and The Clymb. In addition to In the Running, the event will also feature a vendor marketplace. Your $10 tickets to this event includes entry into our raffle to win prizes from Deja Bags, Grafletics, Egg Press and Columbia, 2 drink tickets and a give-away from our Platinum Sponsor - Coast. As a selected company, you will get the opportunity to meet with OAF investors for a private coaching session to prepare for your presentation at the A&O Annual Celebration. Each company will be given 3 minutes to pitch at the event. The winner will be chosen by audience vote. The winner will have opportunity to pitch at the January OAF Pipeline meeting for a chance to receive angel investment.
