For Georgia to compete in a more globalized economy of the future, employment equity is key - anyone who wants to work would be able to find a quality job regardless of race or gender. Join the Partnership for Southern Equity (PSE), PolicyLink, and the Program for Regional and Environmental Equity at the University of Southern California (PERE), as we release "The Full Employment Report," which talks about employment equity and its economic benefits regionally and nationally. We'll also have panel discussions with policy makers, community leaders, and community stakeholders to address employment equity throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area, the state of Georgia, and the Southeast. Lunch will be provided courtesy of our host, Chris Burke, director of community engagement at Georgia Tech, along with PSE, PolicyLink and PERE. The event is FREE and open to the public, so please bring as many colleagues as you like.
