Join us for our second Tech Talks. Due to all the heightened coverage on Cyber Security in the news we have decided to focus this event specifically on Cyber Security. Do you know the latest legalities? The real risks and costs? Due to popular demand, we have brought in some expert speakers in the space to give you valuable insight into this topic. We will have brief educational presentations, an open panel discussion allowing you to have your voice heard followed by a happy hour networking session. *This will not be a sales pitch event and we welcome your feedback at the end of the session to make our next events more valuable. Our list of speakers include: Shaun Gallagher, CISSP, CEH, RCMPAs a security systems analyst for the Royal Canadian mounted Police, Shaun has worked with municipal, provincial and national policing services and public safety partners of the RCMP providing identity management through their 2FA PKI system as well as supporting the Government of Canada's Canadian Federal PKI Bridge. Currently he works in the technical investigation services branch. He is also an independent consultant focusing on risk management, policy, security governance and developing his red team skill set. David Weeks, Senior Global Channel Sales Manager, SolarWindsDavid Weeks works closely with the company's top tier partners and major accounts worldwide to understand their needs, provide insight into current market conditions, and offer strategic security recommendations to the channel. A regular presenter at the company's global and regional summits, David is passionate about ensuring the successful security of SolarWinds MSP's partner base. Wendy Wagner, Leader of the Privacy & Data Protection Group, Gowling WLGWendy Wagner in her privacy practice advises companies on compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), provincial privacy laws, and laws governing the protection of health information. Wendy advises on cross-border data transfers, and assists companies to manage data breach incidents. She advises on compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law and has created compliance policies and programs. She represents clients in complaints before the Information Commissioner of Canada and Provincial Commissioners. She is recognized in Best Lawyers (Administrative and Public Law).
