Code + Craft Brews is a quarterly event series that highlights local technology leaders who are having a significant impact in their organization and their engineering culture as well as the broader the tech community here in Southeast Wisconsin. Our next event will feature Melissa Owens, Senior Vice President of Application Engineering at Aurora Health Care. As Senior Vice President of Application Engineering, Melissa provides strategic direction and overall management of Aurora IT applications engineering, which includes Epic and all other current and future applications. Melissa and her team are responsible for developing and evolving a strategic plan and application architecture responsive to the changing, technological consumer and industry environments for the applications engineering business within the context of a broader IT strategy and Aurora’s overall business strategy. At Code + Craft Brews we will discuss Melissa's role at Aurora Health Care, Aurora Health Care's engineering culture and her vast background and knowledge of Healthcare IT. Prior to joining Aurora Health Care in spring of 2017, Melissa held management positions at companies such as Marshfield Clinic and Epic Systems. Who should attend Code + Craft Brews?
