The Detroit Chapter of Black Girls Code invites you to join us for a spirited and lively evening of conversation and connection, featuring some of the Detroit area's leading voices of Women of Color in STEAM. Behind the Click- The Intersection of WoC in Technology + Arts. This panel will highlight women of color working in the STEAM industry and explore the impact of intersectionality in their work and the parallels which exist in current social change movements. PLANNED AGENDA 6:00 pm Registration/check-in begins (please plan to arrive with enough time to check-in) 6:15 pm Welcome and Opening Remarks 6:30 pm Panel begins 7:15 pm Q & A with Panelists 7:35 pm Light Refreshments & Networking 8:00 pm Event ends This event is FREE and open to tech divas ages 7 to 17, their parents/guardians and the general public.
