Event Details

We see the impact of climate change every day. We see it in the melting ice caps, unusual weather patterns and severe storms. Assemblymember Deborah J. Glick is hosting a town hall to discuss sustainability measures, and create greater awareness on the challenges ahead as we work to build more resilient cities. We hope you can join Assemblymember Glick, Tuesday, November 28th from 6-8pm at the Bob and Sheila Hoerle Lecture Hall, 63 5th Avenue. Panelists at the event are Judith Enck, the former regional administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency; Andrew Farnsworth, Cornell Lab of Ornithology Research Associate; and Mike Aziz, Urban Design Planner at Perkins + Will. This event is co-sponsored by Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer, Congressman Jerry Nadler, State Senator Brad Hoylman, Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou, Councilmember Corey Johnson, Councilmember Rosie Mendez, Manhattan Community Boards 1, 2 and 3, Downtown Independent Democrats, Village Independent Democrats, Downtown Women for Change, and Coalition for a District Alternative.
