As one of our nation’s oldest public health agencies with over 200 years of leadership in the field, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is proud to announce DOHMH’s First Agency-Wide City Research Scientist Job Fair on Monday, December 4th, 2017. This event is to promote and showcase the endless career opportunities in physical, biological, environmental and social science research which is important to public health education, promotion and disease prevention work that we do across New York City. Attention job seekers: Be prepared to meet with Hiring Managers. You may be prescreened for existing job and internship opportunities. We strongly recommend you come with several copies of your resume. For entry into building you will need a photo i.d. and your Eventbrite reservation. To Qualify: For entry level City Research positions (Level 1), the following is required: Graduate Degree in the Physical, Biological or Environmental Science. No experience required. For Level 2 positions, the following is required: Graduate Degree or Ph.D in the Physical, Biological or Environmental Science and three years of full-time research experience.
