In this two-day training, attendees will be introduced to the fundamentals of LabKey Server as well as learn how to extend LabKey Server to create new tools. Users can attend one or both days. Day 1Learn the basic functionality and building blocks included in the server. Learn how to think through problems and build solutions using the server's built-in tools. Topics include: effective data security, managing clinical and research data, reporting, data portals/collaborating with colleagues, and server administration best practices. Day 2 Learn how to extend the server to create new tools. Create new assay data capture mechanisms to fit your experiments, managing specimens and samples, build a mini-LIMS, developing applications on top of the server, and developing new modules. Lunch will be provided to attendees both days.
