The Western States Hostage Negotiators' Association (WSHNA) is excited to be traveling to Portland, Oregon for our 31st Annual Training Conference. Our 2017 Conference will also feature Negotiation Team Competition on May 7th, 2017. Please download an entry form from www.wshna.com. WSHNA has had competition events before, but this year it is in conjunction with our Annual Training Conference. Our Conference will be at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach Hotel on the Columbia River. The Conference will be May 8-10, 2017 with Registration & Networking on the evening of May 7, 2017 The host committee from Multnomah County Sheriff's Office in cooperation with Visit Portland is hoping you will come early and/or stay late and enjoy all that 'weird' Portland has to offer. Of course, keeping with WSHNA standards, the Conference will provide first-rate presenters to increase your crisis negotiation skills. See you in Portland. We understand that our profession/s has some scheduling challenges (court, special assignments, unplanned events, unusual occurrences, etc...). Thus, registrations are transferrable provided you notify WSHNA via Bruce Wind at [email protected]. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. What is the refund policy? Registration cancellations less than 30-days prior to the beginning of the conference will not be refunded. Rather, a voucher for the following year's conference may be issued at the discretion of the Executive Board.
