Warm up this winter spending time by the fireside with your fellow wedding vendors. Maria Northcott, founder of the Maine Wedding Network, is hosting a series of Fireside Chats which will take place at her house, known as the Cottage on the Fen, in Bath. Join her and a group of colleagues for a small-group, facilitated discussion on a range of topics relevant to professionals in the wedding community in Maine. Breakfasty food, coffee and tea will be provided for the morning chat and savory snacks and wine for the evening chat. Ample time will be provided for networking. These chats, which are limited to only 12 people, sell out quickly so register early to save your spot by the fire! The topic for January is: Educating Our Clients. One of our greatest challenges is educating our clients about our work, our worth and our value. Are you effectively educating your clients? What mediums do you use to educate (website, blog, in-person)? How could we be doing a better job of educating our clients? And, is it really our job to educate them? Where are they getting their information before talking to you? Join us to discuss these and other relevant questions about educating our clients!
