Hello Parents and Teachers: It’s time to sign up for the first Science Saturday of 2017! Candy Chromatography January's Science Saturday will be presented by Dr. Manal Fakhoury, Clinical Pharmacologist in Ocala. Children will learn about chromatography - the separation of a mixture by passing through a medium in which the components move at different rates. Fun hands-on activities will involve several different applications of this technique. IHMC uses EventBrite to issue tickets for Science Saturdays. Please submit a reservation request for children in grades 3-5 (only) by clicking on the green REGISTER button above. You will be prompted to fill out some information before being issued a ticket. If there are no tickets available, you will be told we are sold out. If this happens, please don't give up! Please click on the button: JOIN WAITLIST. Enter your email and your child's full name. Then click on the blue button that says ADD TO WAITLIST. Please repeat this process for each child that you would like to add to the list. If you’re on the waiting list, we will let you know no later than the Friday before the event if we can accommodate your child (or children). We usually are able to add quite a few children from the waitlist due to last minute changes in plans among ticket holders. It’s definitely worthwhile to join the wait list! If you have problems registering or other questions, please call the IHMC front desk at 352-387-3050 and someone will be able to help you.
