The Energy Expo is hosted by the Energy Club at Georgia Tech in partnership with the Georgia Tech Strategic Energy Institute. The event is February 9th and 10th, and it is open to the public. As Atlanta rapidly becomes a hub for energy innovation and entrepreneurship, we bring together energy researchers and industry experts across the country to show off the latest technologies and challenge policy makers to have the same innovation! Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 5:00pm - Clary Theatre in the Bill Moore Student Sucess Center: The Expo kicks off with a short documentary screening, followed by a panel discussion on Energy Equality. The panel will be followed by an informal networking reception. Friday, February 10, 2017 from 9:00am-7:00pm - Student Center Ballroom: The full day of the Expo includes two keynote addresses and three panel sessions, focusing on Energy Storage, Emerging Energy Technologies, and Where Are We Headed: Technology, Economics, and Policy. There will be networking coffee breaks as well as roundtable lunch discussions. Guests are encouraged to attend in the afternoon the Expo Showcase and Networking Reception, featuring student and industry posters, presentations, and demonstrations. Guests of the reception will be able to vote for the winning Showcase presenter, to be announced at the conclusion of the Expo Friday evening.
