Also, we'll have interactive audience polling with instantaneous results. This event is expected to sell out so buy your ticket early! Debate #1 on Transportation: The debaters will be Thomas Hawkins (Policy and Planning Director for 1000 Friends of Florida, Inc.) vs Gerry Dedenbach (VP & Director of Planning for CHW Professional Consultants). Debate will address the prioritization of transportation modes, and how to provide a sustainable transportation system that promotes economic stability, resilience, and balanced opportunities. Debate #2 on Land Development Regulations, including Storm Water and Open Space: The debaters will be Mike Byerly (County Commissioner) vs Dean Cheshire (Partner, Cheshire Companies). Debate will encompass residential and commercial development, storm water, green space, tree and other mitigation, development costs and its effects, and the protection of natural resources.
