Geekend Conference “What is Geekend?” you ask. It’s Savannah’s only geek-fest that brings together coders, innovators, entrepreneurs and designers via an interactive two-day conference designed to expand attendee’s horizon’s, both technically and professionally. At Geekend you will have a chance to hear some of the top speakers in the tech industry. They will illustrate key components that have helped them reach their professional goals, share ideas and encourage you to challenge yourself. We will kick off the weekend with Friday’s evening session, “Pitch Circus”. This event will showcase five of Savannah’s hottest tech startups. These five entrepreneurs will have a chance to pitch their companies, “Shark Tank” style to a panel of judges, and in front of an audience of potential investors. In addition to all of the geekiness we just mentioned, this year we will introduce the Indie Arcade. We have pulled the worlds of tech together by adding in panels designed for gamers. We will have interactive activities planned around gaming, designers and creators for you to geek out to.
