The New Plastics Economy is an untapped investment and innovation opportunity. Announced at the 2015 World Economic Forum, the New Plastics Economy is an important shift away from conventional fossil fuel plastics towards: new bio-based, bio-benign materials from renewable sources; new manufacturing processes, and innovative consumer and business products leveraging these new materials. These changes may alter the landscape of one of the largest commodity markets in the world.
