Come and see who will be the winner this year to present at SXSW: the top five nominated Austin startups are pitching and competing for investors, talent, and media recognition.
Founded in 2010, the Co-founders Meetup Austin is with 2,800 members the largest meetup group about tech entrepreneurship here in central Texas. The meetup is produced by The Tech^Map, a community-oriented project bringing together people who work within the technology startup universe.
The Co-founders Austin meetup meets at Capital Factory where six startups pitch each month to a group of 150 entrepreneurs, talent, and investors. From our pitch event we have had many success in connecting with others in the community. One of our many success stories is Joseph Kopser with Ridescout
In addition to this event, The Tech Map also hosts a social mixer and invites tech media. This allows tech entrepreneurs another opportunity to connect as well as to tell their story to local tech media.

Rules to apply
1. Your Startup have to be in a need of a Co-founder
2. It must be a Startup
3. Presentation deck needs to be professional
4. Presenter needs to be an Awesome speaker. :-)
Once we have gone through all the applications we will send you an email to meet in person.

We also need to receive your pitch deck before you are chosen to present. So do send your presentation as a PowerPoint to [email protected]. The deadline to send your pitch deck is by 01/30/2015. We will announce the presenters 30 days before the event.

The presentations are 5 to 7 slides, including your cover slide a final slide with your contact information. Please make sure the final slide has your contact information large enough to be easily read. If you have a product to demo you can show that as well.
Please note that you'll only have a maximum 5 minutes to present. We will have to cut you off at the 5 minute mark to make sure we have time for the other presenters. Your presentation will be followed by 4 minutes for questions (no hard cut off). A visual timer will be provided for you
NEW: To maximize screen space during presentations and avoid formatting issues, please submit only "PowerPoint" slides in 16:9 format. You can change from classic 6:4 format under Page Setup.
There will be terms and conditions if you get chosen to present your company.
